Comprehensive Deaddiction Program

A large part of the world suffers from different types of substance abuse. The effect of substance abuse extends towards a person’s physical, mental, and social health. With over 2% of India’s population using drugs, and over 4% of the country’s population having alcohol use issues, substance abuse in the country needs addressing now. The key to addressing this? Early identification and effective rehabilitation.

Cadabams offers a Comprehensive deaddiction program that comprises up to 180 days of intensive individual therapies, group therapies, family therapy, and more. This program is aimed at individuals who have been diagnosed with drug or alcohol addiction. These include addiction to alcohol, MDMA/Ecstasy, Cocaine & other opioids, marijuana, and more. The program is aimed at helping individuals sustain their recovery from substance abuse over a longer period and preventing relapse once they return to daily functioning.

What is comprehensive deaddiction at Cadabams?

Substance abuse can completely disrupt a person’s daily functioning. It affects a person’s physical health, mental health, and family relationships. Studies have shown that individuals with substance abuse have strained relationships with immediate family and have poorer finances as compared to people who are not dependent on substances. Substance abuse can be treated, and Cadabams has spent over three decades building the perfect deaddiction experience.

Our comprehensive deaddiction program is aimed at helping a person overcome substance consumption, its abuse, and its effects. We understand the nature of substance abuse and through this program, we address the root causes of substance use within a person. Our model of recovery aims at comprehensive physical, mental and social recovery from addiction. We have helped countless people return to their families and daily functioning after recovery from substance abuse. We also offer post-rehabilitation care and relapse prevention options that help individuals keep track of their recovery and sustain it.

What does the program involve?

  • Comprehensive Screening and Assessment: To treat a mental health disorder, understanding it and the person it affects is imperative. Our multidisciplinary team screens the person and builds a unique treatment plan that meets the person’s specific needs.

  • Individualized Therapy: Individual Therapy with our multidisciplinary team helps the person explore multiple aspects behind addiction. These sessions equip the person with the skills to deal with their addiction issues and help them overcome the different symptoms posed by the disorder itself.

  • Group Therapies: We learn a lot from the people around us. At our deaddiction centre, the community too helps in healing. Group therapies help the person rebuild social skills, understand working in a team, and overcome the various symptoms of addiction.

  • Post-Rehab Care and Relapse Prevention: Rehabilitation doesn’t end at the centre. The true goal of what we do at our deaddiction centre is for people to sustain the recovery once they are discharged. Our professionals, through our post-rehab care program, keep a check on the individuals and their recovery, while also helping prevent relapses from occurring.

Cadabams were quite beneficial against my alcoholism. My life had been absolutely shattered as a result of it. I was able to get my life back on track thanks to a brief program here. Thank you very much.

This place changed my life. Would recommend it to everyone for recovery.

This is one of the most well-planned and thought-out rehabilitation centers in India. I was diagnosed with substance Induced psychosis a couple of times before and was admitted here. To be honest I found it very harsh at first and sometimes they really frustrate you and curtail your freedom a lot. But when you look at the bigger picture they try to inculcate discipline and good habits which is the most effective weapon to tackle substance abuse.

Anunitha gives hope, comfort, professional support when you need it the most. Dr. Priya is amazing. As for Ms. Raji, she's outstanding in her depth of understanding and tracking all the residents. Her thoughtful advice has been most valuable. I am very grateful for all the help my family member has received. Thank you!

Difference between Rehab and In-Patient

  • Continued Care and Monitoring in a setting that feels like home
  • Focuses on long-term recovery that is sustainable.
  • Involves the family over the treatment course to ensure sustainable recovery.
  • Round-the-clock assistance for the individual, with all basic needs cared for.
  • Most important step towards recovering from psychiatric illnesses.

IP Care

  • Hospital setting for care in acute situations
  • Focuses on immediate relieving of symptoms in case of emergencies
  • Mainly involves the treating team that focuses on symptoms reduction
  • Individuals will need a family member with them in case of emergencies
  • The first step is seeking care for acute mental health disorders, after which rehabilitation may be necessary or not
