"Neeraja - Your Choice Food Needs" is not just a shop selling our daily food needs. Behind this is a decade old saga of a organisation striving to provide comfort and care to nearly 150 persons suffering from one form or the other of mental illness and demonstrate that they can over come the same and become productive members of Society.
Cadabam'S Home for Mentally disabled Trust since it's establishment in 1992 has been in the vanguard of Mental Health Service taking the responsibility of providing Professional Psycho-Social Care with love and concern to it's Residents."Neeraja" Your Choice is the result of Cadabam'S Self-help Scheme.

"Neeraja" is Cadabam'S answer to the reluctance of industrial and business establishments to employ it's rehabilitated residents and give them a chance to return to the social mainstream.

Expressing concern over the increasing number of mentally ill people in society Chief minister S.M.Krishna on Sunday said the Government would extend all possible help to Institutions involved helping them.
Speaking at the inaugural function of "Tanmayee" a residential complex for the mentally ill at Cadabam's Rehabilitation Centre, Mr.Krishna said the number of mentally challenged people in India was over one percent of the total population. "We need to take immediate steps to treat them in all possible ways" he said.

Rehabilitating The Less Fortunate
The Cadabam'S Home for Mentally disabled Trust has come out with a novel scheme, "Neeraja"(Lotus). The scheme implemented through the Cadabam'S Centre for Psycho-Social Rehabilitation will help rehabilitated mentally ill patients to stand on their own feet and integrate themselves with main stream. At the same time theyu will be trained so that they can tone their business skills, bring out their eclipsed talents and vocational skills and most importantly boost their morale.

Speaking after inaugurating the function and releasing the institution's souvenir called "Ashwasan", Mr.Reddy said the center should think of a permanent solution for rehabilitating the mentally disabled in the country.
